Practice-Space - Noise Cancelling Headphones Review Review
Every time you take the earphones from the charging cradle you have to synch the earphones to the cradle. This is an annoyance. Here's a quick review for you. The quality is absolutely great, and the range is incredible.
Unlike others I do get headaches from the cushions, which are positioned on the sides of the head center. Somehow these cushions seem to press on some nerves and after a few minutes I get headaches that emanate from these pressure points. They sound great! The controls are hard to use without actually taking the headset off and looking at which buttons you are pressing. Like a new remote control on a new TV, yes, it does require some getting used to but we have had fantastic feedback otherwise. These are simply the best full-sized wireless headphones that I have heard. His first comments about the product came before it was even out of the box. The outside of the box literally has instructions on how to open the packaging!
The volume and balance are controlled by small, low-profile buttons on the outside of the right ear cup. For me, it's been tough to find and operate those buttons by feel. For our installation, at least, it was an annoyance to have the charger integrated with the transmitter. The transmitter has to be physically tied to the TV sound source with a cable, which limits your choices for where to plug in the charging station.
The sound is really great quality, and because they are so lightweight, you can probably wear them for hours without any discomfort. I highly recommend these headphones, especially for couples who don't have the exact same sleep schedule.
They're also fairly easy to open (the fit of the plastic container containing the actual headphones and base was a bit snug, so there was a bit of tugging there). Setting the headphones up is very easy. There's no hiss or background noise thanks to the KLEER technology. And the sound is as good as the Sennheiser HD595 they replaced. I believe another reviewer said that these headphones would make you hate your speakers. And I have fine speakers.
My house is kind of small, but it's on two levels and there is nowhere I go in my house that I don't receive a clear signal. Sound is very good and bass response is quite acceptable for this type of open headphone.
